Okay, so, I recently went on a stamp rampage, adding a whole bunch to my shout box and stuff.
Something I noticed is that some people don't like it when people fave their stamps. They complain because people like their stamps more than their actual artwork. They complain because it's "clogging up their gallery stats".
You know what I say to that? STFU
My "I Support Jews" stamp happens to be one of the most popular things in my gallery. I'm cool with that. I'm actually really happy about that! Why? Because I'm really proud of that stamp.
Making stamps isn't just about throwing some random pixelated image and illegible text into a 99x56 pixel space. It takes design skills and an eye for what looks good in a small space.
It's like, somebody likes your stamp enough to favorite it and use it, and you're going to be ungrateful? Don't upload the damn thing in the first place if you're just going to be a bitch to the people who like it.
I agree with you, I mean the stamps on my stamp account have overall gotten more favs than my art on this account, but I don't mind. I love making stamps, and when someone favs your stamp it doesn't just mean they like it, it also means they agree with you too, so I really don't understand why some people are so uptight about it X(
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

A stamp is a statement. It's like people are upset that what they're saying is being acknowledged. D=
